Poached egg = protein, checked

Avocado = healthy fat, checked

Toast = healthy whole grain protein carb, checked

Red paprika = natural spice, cecked

Overall, this is a very well balanced breakfast to start you day in a delicious way!

AVOCADO TOAST

Ingredients

Serves 1

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

1 Egg

1 Bread slice

1/4 Small avocado

Red Paprika

Salt and pepper

 

Directions

  • Toast your bread

  • Slice the avocado and layer it over the toasted bread
  • Season with red paprika, salt and pepper

  • Poach the egg and place it over the avocado
  • Season one more time with red papper, salt and pepper
  • Garnish with chives

    • I use a small pan, put to boil about 1 cup of water. When the water is boiling add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. Crack the egg in a cup and slowly sumerge the the cup into the boiling water. Let the water cover the egg and slowly lift the empty cup. Let the egg cook for about 4 minutes and with a spoon with holes lit the egg and put it over paper towels. Hope it works!! It is not that difficult! 🙂
