Poached egg on a portobello

With this prefect breakfast you will start your day in the best way! Low carb vegetable, healthy fats and protein. Lay a poached egg over a cooked Portobello sprinkle some red pepper flakes to add some spiciness and then let the runny yolk be your creamy sauce.



1 Egg

1 Portobello mushroom

1/4 Avocado

Red pepper Flakes



  • Clean Portobello mushroom wiping the top, then scrap all the gills with a spoon

  • Cook the Portobello mushroom on a skillet for about 5 minutes on each side


  • Poach an egg


  • Lay poached egg over the cooked Portobello mushroom
  • Sprinkle red pepper flakes over the egg to add some spiciness
  • Serve it with some avocado slices
  • Enjoy
